Mental health; a person’s physical, mental and social well-being. It is not enough that the person does not have any illness or weakness. It is a situation in which one feels well, is aware of his or her personal abilities and environmental opportunities, can cope with the daily stress of life, use social support systems when necessary, and work efficiently and contribute to the society to which he belongs.

Mental health related disorders are among the leading factors causing loss of labor and productivity in the world. Mental disorders, which have a wide spectrum, have a negative effect on the physical health of the person. Backwards; oncological diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and many other chronic or repetitive diseases also impair mental health. On the other hand, impaired mental health affects these diseases even further and reduces the life expectancy and quality of the person.

In our hospital, mental health and psychiatric services are provided on a polyclinic basis. In the light of scientific developments, a detailed mental examination is performed, diagnosis is made by using laboratory (blood, etc.) and radiological examinations (computed tomography, etc.) and treatment is provided with modern scientific methods.
